ATPL(A) - Airline Transport Pilot License

Training for the ATPL(A) license can be started by holders of a Private Pilot License PPL(A) or higher, airplane category.

For PPL(A) holders, training at ATO Avioner includes 675 hours and is conducted in four phases:

  • Phase I – Self-study (remote learning) – Lectures on the Avioner platform
  • Phase II – Self-study (remote learning) – Reading materials and test completion
  • Phase III – Online sessions – Real-time remote training on individual subjects
  • Phase IV – Online sessions – Remote training in the 100 KSA area
  • Upon successful completion of the fourth phase, you will receive a certificate of completion for the ATPL(A) course.

PPL(A) - Private Pilot License (Aeroplane)

This training is designed for individuals aged 16 and older, with no upper age limit. The PPL(A) license is a gateway to fulfilling your dreams and serves as a prerequisite for further pilot training. The course includes 100 hours of online theoretical classes, and upon receiving the theoretical course completion certificate, you can begin flight training at a selected practical training center. The minimum required flight hours for practical training is 45.

  • Short Course – Available only for holders of an SPL, PPL(H), LAPL(H), CPL(H) or BPL license.

PPL(H) - Private Pilot License (Helicopter)

This license can be obtained at the age of 17, but practical training can begin at 16. If you plan to pursue a career as a helicopter pilot, after obtaining a PPL(H), you will need to continue training for the CPL(H) commercial license.

The course includes 100 hours of online theoretical classes, and upon receiving the theoretical course completion certificate, you can begin flight training at a selected practical training center. The minimum required flight hours for practical training is 45.

Bartosz Reszkiewicz
Bartosz Reszkiewicz

Commercial Helicopter Pilot, Merchant Navy Captain Maritime University of Szczecin - Faculty of Navigation graduate. Passionate about sea and air. While working at sea he went through all career steps from deck cadet to the captain position. Worked on offshore vessels on oil & gas, renewable and dredging projects, and also on SAR vessels. Often acted additionally as Helicopter Landing Officer and Helideck Emergency Team Leader on most of the offshore vessels he served. That pushed him to pursue childhood dreams of becoming a helicopter pilot. Between sea voyages, during free time he completed modular course and obtained CPL(H) license. He was building his flight hours and experience mainly in Poland, but also had some time flying in Norway and Scotland. Now working as a freelance pilot and for one of local helicopter operators on sightseeing and business flights. Recently commenced work for Police Aviation Unit and is undergoing further training. He was building his pedagogical experience working as maritime safety, DP ship manoeuvring and powerboat instructor at Maritime University in Szczecin and other venues as freelancer or subcontractor.

Jakub Załęski

Jakub Załęski - started his adventure with aviation in 2018. As an instructor, he focuses on transmitting aviation knowledge with emphasis on its practical aspects. He is also a PR specialist by education. In the past he was involved in sport dancing - he is, among others, Polish Boogie Woogie champion - and he also worked as a dance instructor. He has been developing his skills as a flight instructor for many years. In his free time he enjoys climbing and cycling. Currently, he fulfills his aviation dreams as the first officer on the Boeing 737 aircraft.

Janusz Jasiński

Janusz Jasiński graduated the Military University of Technology as a meteorologist and worked as the chief of the meteorological station in a Polish Air Force Airbase, then as a teacher and instructor in meteorology in the Polish Air Force University. Having completed his doctoral research, he has been teaching in the Military University of Technology - mainly remote sensing, meteorological instruments and measurement techniques, and meteorology for aviation. He has also been involved in developing measurements systems and applications for upper air soundings and aviation.

Jan Franciszek Kłudkiewicz
Jan Franciszek Kłudkiewicz

Jan Kłudkiewicz has started his flying career in Aeroklub Warszawski with a PPL theoretical and subsequently followed by a practical training in Cessna 152. Finishing this initial step, he conducted his later aeronautical education in Rzeszów University of Technology and its Aviation Training Centre. He graduated with a Master of Science in Aerospace engineering and Aeronautics and after the completion of a training he was nominated for a position of a flight instructor at the very same facility. Right now he is a Boeing 737 type rated active airline pilot. Jan has never given up recreational General Aviation flying still giving flight instruction in one of Warsaw's flying schools. He is also a private aircraft owner.

Mikołaj Pernak

Mikołaj Pernak has been connected to aviation since early childhood, his grandfather served in Polish Air Force. His father taught him the basics of flying starting at the age of 9. Mikołaj then paved his way from gliding, via gyrocopters to aircraft, flying in solo and group trips spanning almost entire Europe. Currently a CPL holder, Mikołaj is teaching in flight schools in Poland and the United Kingdom, where he is completing his postgraduate degree in Advanced Aeronautical Engineering.

Kamil Bojarski
Kamil Bojarski

Kamil Bojarski works as an airline pilot on a daily basis and has passion for gliding in a flying club. He began his adventure with aviation with gliders. A member of the Polish National Junior Team for several years as both glider and airplane pilot. He gained theoretical knowledge at the Rzeszów University of Technology, majoring in Aviation and Space Science, where he obtained the master of science degree in engineering. His main interests are aircraft construction and flight mechanics. He is interested in sports - especially long-distance running.
